BIGBANG Celebrates 20 Years With New Single “BiiiG” and Global World Tour

SEOUL — K-pop group BIGBANG is celebrating two decades in music with the release of a new digital single and the launch of a major international tour.

The group released “BiiiG” on August 19, marking BIGBANG’s first new music in approximately four years. The song quickly reached No. 1 on several major South Korean music charts, including Melon, Genie, Bugs and VIBE.

On Melon, “BiiiG” reached the top spot on the platform’s TOP100 chart within an hour of its release.

The new song combines BIGBANG’s familiar mix of rap and vocals with playful wordplay, confident lyrics and a celebratory sound fitting the group’s 20th anniversary.

The accompanying music video also looks back at elements of BIGBANG’s history. The colorful and surreal video features a truck traveling through space, the group’s signature light stick and a set inspired by “Sunset Glow,” the title track from BIGBANG’s second full-length album.

The video has also generated significant attention online, reaching No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending and Trending Music charts, according to the group’s label.

Now, BIGBANG is taking the anniversary celebration around the world.

The group’s BIGBANG 2026–2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS> launched August 21 with a three-day run at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.

The tour is scheduled to span 19 cities and 33 shows across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia, marking the group's return to the international stage.

Additional projects and activities are expected throughout the year as BIGBANG continues celebrating 20 years of music and its global presence in K-pop.
